Who buys flap barriers in Delhi

Delhi entrances are very varied: a new glass lobby in an office complex, a crowded gate at a college, and a narrow entrance in an older building all need different set-ups. These are the cases we see most often:

• Office complexes and business districts such as Connaught Place, Nehru Place, Jasola, Saket and the Okhla area. Many buildings have several tenants, so the barrier must read each company's cards or faces and show a clear record of who came in.
• Government offices, PSUs and institutions, which usually buy through a tender or GeM. They need a written technical specification, compliance with it point by point, and proper documentation at handover.
• Colleges, universities and coaching centres, where hundreds of students arrive at the same time. Lanes have to be quick and rugged, and the management wants entry records linked to attendance.
• Hospitals and diagnostic centres, where staff and restricted areas need controlled entry, but patients, wheelchairs and stretchers must still pass easily through a wide lane.

• Peak crowd and number of lanes. Tell us how many people arrive in the busiest 15 minutes. Colleges and government buildings often need more lanes than the headcount suggests, because everyone arrives together. Dual lane (three-cabinet) layouts save space, and bi-directional lanes can switch between entry and exit through the day.
• Space in older buildings. Entrances in older Delhi buildings are often narrow or have steps and uneven floors. We measure the clear width and floor before suggesting cabinet length, and sometimes a tripod turnstile or swing barrier fits better.
• Credential. Face recognition is touch-free and avoids card sharing; RFID cards are cheaper and suit buildings that already use them; QR codes suit visitors. If you already have an access control system or biometric attendance machine, we check whether the barrier readers can use the same data.
• Tender and specification. For government or PSU buyers, we can help prepare a practical specification (lane width, flap material, passage speed, reader type, emergency opening) and quote against your tender or GeM requirement.
• Fire safety and power. The flaps must open automatically on a fire alarm signal or power failure. We wire the barrier to the fire alarm panel and test it with your safety team. In areas with frequent power cuts we also plan a UPS for the barrier and readers.

Visitors and security checks

Busy Delhi buildings receive a lot of visitors, vendors and delivery staff. With a visitor management system, visitors are registered at the reception or pre-registered by their host and get a QR pass that opens the flap barrier only for that day.
