Full height turnstile in Faridabad: supply, installation and AMC

Single and dual lane full height turnstiles for workers’ boundary gates at engineering, auto component and forging units in the Faridabad industrial sectors, IMT Faridabad and Ballabgarh, warehouses on the Delhi–Mathura Road side, and construction sites in Greater Faridabad. We survey the gate, supply and install the turnstile and readers, and support it under AMC from our Gurugram office.

Where Faridabad sites use a full height turnstile

A full height turnstile is a head-height rotor inside a steel frame that lets one person through per valid face, card or fingerprint. Nobody can jump over it or slip under it, so it is the turnstile for gates that open onto the road or run without a guard for part of the day. In Faridabad the enquiries usually come from:

  • Engineering, auto component and forging units in the older industrial sectors, NIT and the units along Mathura Road, where hundreds of permanent and contract workers enter at the start of each shift. The turnstile goes on the workers’ gate and a boom barrier handles trucks and staff vehicles.
  • New plants in IMT Faridabad and around Ballabgarh, where the boundary is long and the gate is often far from the main building, so it has to work on its own.
  • Warehouses and godowns where pickers and loaders are hired in large numbers and the owner wants each person counted in and out.
  • Construction sites in Greater Faridabad, where builders want a labour headcount, the site closed at night and a turnstile that can move to the next tower or project.

Full height, tripod or flap barrier?

For a covered office or admin block, a flap barrier looks better and is faster. Inside a covered workers’ entrance, a tripod turnstile is the lowest cost per lane. At an open boundary gate, at night, or wherever someone could climb over a waist-high unit, the full height turnstile is the right choice. Our full height turnstile guide explains the options.

Points we plan for on a Faridabad site

  • Dust, heat and oil. Forging, casting and machining units have metal dust and oil mist near the gate. We suggest SS304 or a good outdoor finish, readers with a sealed housing placed under a canopy, and reader and sensor cleaning on every AMC visit, because dirty readers are the most common reason a turnstile slows down.
  • Large contract workforce. Labour changes often. Every card or face entry can carry an end date, so access stops automatically when a contract or a temporary worker’s period ends, and new workers are enrolled quickly at the gate cabin.
  • Shift-change peak. We count how many people pass in the busiest 15 minutes and choose single or dual lane, or more than one unit, so workers do not queue on the main road.
  • Face recognition for worn fingers. Workers handling metal and tools often have worn fingerprints. Face recognition, or cards, avoid repeated failed reads at the gate.
  • Gate far from the building. On large IMT plots the gate cabin can be some distance from the server room. We plan the network link (cable or wireless bridge) and a UPS so the turnstile keeps working and syncing.
  • Emergency release. The controller is linked to the fire alarm panel so the rotor turns freely in an emergency, and we test it at handover. A separate wide gate is still needed for evacuation and goods.

Attendance and contractor reports

The turnstile reader can also be the attendance device, so there is no separate punch. Entry and exit records give shift, overtime and contractor-wise reports, which helps when checking a labour contractor’s bill against real hours, and the list of who is still inside helps the safety officer during a drill. Visitors and drivers can be given QR passes through a visitor management system.

What supply, installation and AMC include

  • Site survey: gate width, lanes, base and canopy, power and network points, peak headcount and the credential you want.
  • Supply of single or dual lane full height turnstiles with face, card, fingerprint or QR readers, controller and software.
  • Installation: anchoring on a level concrete base, cabling in conduit, fire alarm and UPS link, configuration, enrolment help and training for guards and HR.
  • AMC: preventive visits with reader and sensor cleaning, checks of the rotor, drive, solenoids and emergency release, software updates and breakdown support. See our AMC services.

Site visits in Faridabad

We do not have an office in Faridabad. Surveys, installation and AMC visits are planned from our office at M-14, Sector 14, Gurugram, with dates fixed in advance so the engineer reaches the gate outside shift-change hours. Many faults can be checked first over phone or WhatsApp with a photo or a short video.

Questions from Faridabad buyers

Do you install full height turnstiles in IMT Faridabad and Ballabgarh?

Yes. We supply and install single and dual lane full height turnstiles at factory, warehouse and construction gates across Faridabad, IMT Faridabad and Ballabgarh, with face, card or fingerprint readers, and support them under AMC. Visits are planned from our Gurugram office.

Will a full height turnstile work near a forging or machining shop with dust?

Yes, with the right finish and care. We use SS304 or a good outdoor finish, sealed readers under a canopy, and clean the readers and sensors on every AMC visit.

How do we stop contract workers entering after their contract ends?

Each card or face entry can be given an end date. When it passes, the turnstile no longer opens for that person, without anyone having to remember to delete them.

Face, card or fingerprint for factory workers?

Face recognition or cards work best where fingerprints are worn by tools and metal. Cards are cheapest for short-term labour; face avoids lost or shared cards.

What is the price of a full height turnstile in Faridabad?

It depends on single or dual lane, the finish, the reader, software and site work such as the base, canopy and cabling. The Faridabad price page shows starting prices; we send a written, itemised quotation after the survey.
