Where a full height turnstile fits in Ghaziabad
A full height turnstile is a head-height rotor in a steel frame. It lets one person through per valid face, card or fingerprint, and nobody can climb over or crawl under it. That makes it the right unit for a gate on the boundary wall, in the open, with few guards. In Ghaziabad we see three main uses:
- Factory workers’ gates in Sahibabad Site IV, the Meerut Road and Bulandshahr Road industrial areas and Loni. The full height unit stands at the outer gate, a boom barrier handles trucks, and tripod turnstiles or flap barriers sit at the covered admin or canteen entry inside.
- Warehouses and distribution centres along the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, where loaders and pickers change often and the operator wants every person counted in and out.
- Construction sites of high-rise projects in Raj Nagar Extension, Siddharth Vihar, Crossings Republik and along NH-24, where the contractor needs a daily labour headcount and a gate that can be locked at night.
Points we plan for on a Ghaziabad site
- Peak headcount, not total staff. In many Sahibabad and Loni units most workers arrive within a few minutes of the shift bell. We count that peak at the survey and plan dual lane units, or separate entry and exit lanes, so the outgoing shift does not block the incoming one.
- Contract labour. Contractors bring and remove workers often. Every card or face entry can carry an end date, so access stops on its own when the contract ends, and new workers are enrolled at the gate cabin by the security or HR team.
- Waterlogging and open ground. Several roads and industrial lanes in Ghaziabad flood in heavy monsoon rain. We raise the base so water does not stand under the rotor, run cables in sealed conduit above the water line, and suggest a canopy over the readers and controller.
- Power cuts. A UPS keeps the turnstile and reader working, and the rotor can be set to free-turn or stay locked when power fails, as your safety team decides. It is also linked to the fire alarm panel so it turns freely in an emergency; a separate wide gate is still needed for evacuation and goods.
- Credential. Face recognition suits workers whose fingerprints are worn by tools or cement, and stops card sharing. RFID cards are cheapest for short-term labour. Drivers, vendors and visitors can get QR passes through a visitor management system.
- Construction sites move. On a building project the gate may shift as work progresses. We can mount the turnstile on a separate steel base frame so it can be shifted to a new gate or the next project instead of being cast into the ground.
Attendance and contractor reports
The reader on the turnstile can also be the attendance device, so workers do not queue twice. Entry and exit logs give shift, overtime and contractor-wise reports that help check labour bills, and on a construction site they show the real daily headcount. During a drill, the list of who is still inside helps the safety team at the assembly point.
What supply, installation and AMC include
- Site survey: gate width, peak headcount, number of lanes, base and canopy, power and network points, and the credential you want.
- Supply of single or dual lane full height turnstiles in mild steel or SS304, with face, card, fingerprint or QR readers, controller and software, with the manufacturer warranty.
- Installation: anchoring on a level concrete base or steel frame, cabling in conduit, UPS and fire alarm link, configuration, enrolment help and training for security and HR.
- AMC: preventive visits with reader cleaning, checks of the rotor, drive, solenoids and emergency release, software updates and breakdown support. Visits are planned from our Gurugram office. See our AMC services.

Questions from Ghaziabad buyers
Do you install full height turnstiles in Sahibabad, Loni and the Meerut Road industrial area?
Yes. We supply and install single and dual lane full height turnstiles at factory, warehouse and construction gates across Ghaziabad, including Sahibabad Site IV, Loni and the Meerut Road and Bulandshahr Road industrial areas, and support them under AMC.
Can a full height turnstile be moved on a construction site?
Yes, if it is mounted on a separate steel base frame instead of being cast into the ground. It can then be shifted to a new gate or the next project. We plan this at the survey.
Our gate floods in the monsoon. Will the turnstile be safe?
We raise the base so water does not stand under the rotor, run cables in sealed conduit above the water line and suggest a canopy over the readers and controller.
How do we stop contract workers entering after their contract ends?
Each card or face entry can be given an end date. After that date the turnstile no longer opens for that person, without anyone having to remember to delete them.
What is the price of a full height turnstile in Ghaziabad?
It depends on single or dual lane, the number of units, mild steel or SS304, the reader, software and site work such as the base, canopy and cabling. The Ghaziabad price page shows starting prices; we send a written, itemised quotation after the survey.
