Typical X-ray screening points in Delhi
An X-ray baggage scanner lets a guard see inside a bag or parcel on a monitor while a conveyor carries it through a shielded tunnel. Most people in Delhi have walked past one at a metro station or a mall. How the machine works, single vs dual energy and the standard tunnel sizes are on our main X-ray baggage scanner page. In Delhi the screening points we plan most often are:
- Government offices, PSUs and courts in central Delhi, ITO, Lodhi Road and the district court complexes, where every visitor’s bag is screened at the public gate. These buyers usually order through GeM or an open tender.
- Hotels in Aerocity, Mahipalpur, Connaught Place and Chanakyapuri, which screen guest luggage at the porch and need a tunnel big enough for check-in suitcases.
- Malls and markets in Saket, Vasant Kunj, Rajouri Garden and Netaji Subhash Place, with one scanner per public entry next to the door frame metal detectors.
- Corporate offices in Connaught Place, Nehru Place, Jasola and Okhla, where a compact scanner for laptop bags sits beside the flap barriers at the visitor entry.
- Mail rooms, courier hubs and warehouses in Okhla, Naraina, Mayapuri, Wazirpur and Bawana, to check incoming parcels before they enter the building.
- Exhibition halls, wedding and event venues that screen visitors at large public events. We supply scanners on purchase only; we do not rent equipment.
Buying through GeM or a tender
Many Delhi buyers are government departments, PSUs, hospitals and educational institutions that must buy through GeM or a tender. Before you publish the requirement, fix these points so that bids can be compared fairly:
- Tunnel size based on the largest bag or parcel you must scan.
- Single or dual energy, single or dual view, and the image quality you need (penetration and wire resolution, as stated in the manufacturer’s datasheet).
- AERB type approval for the model, and who handles the registration of the installed unit.
- Make in India class if your rules require a local supplier.
- Warranty, AMC, response time and operator training written into the scope, not left for later.
We can share datasheets and help you put together a technical specification that matches what you actually need, without locking it to one brand.
Points we check at a Delhi site
- Older buildings and narrow entries. Many offices and institutions in central and old Delhi are in older buildings with narrow doors, steps at the entrance and no goods lift. We measure the route from the road to the screening point before we confirm the model.
- Heat and dust. Summer heat and dust are hard on the conveyor and electronics. We place the scanner in a shaded, ventilated or air-conditioned area, away from direct sun at an open gate, and include filter and roller cleaning in the AMC.
- Power quality. Voltage drops and power cuts are common in some areas, so we plan a dedicated point with a stabiliser or online UPS and check the DG changeover.
- Queues at peak hours. Court mornings, hotel check-in times and festival or event days bring sudden crowds. We lay out the queue, tray table and metal detector lane so people do not block the gate, and use handheld metal detectors for follow-up checks.
- AERB registration and operators. We supply AERB-approved models, help with the registration documents, and train the guards who will read the images on each shift.
X-ray baggage scanner price in Delhi (November 2026)
We do not publish a fixed X-ray scanner price, because it depends on the tunnel size, single or dual energy, single or dual view, the make, accessories such as roller tables and a UPS, and the warranty and AMC terms. In November 2026 we send an itemised written quotation after a free site survey, with supply, delivery, installation, AERB paperwork support and training as separate lines. Our X-ray baggage scanner price guide for Delhi explains what decides the cost, and the X-ray scanner buying guide covers the checks before you order.
Supply, installation and AMC across Delhi
We survey the site, supply the scanner with its manufacturer warranty, install and level it, run the start-up, image and leakage checks, train the operators and maintain it under AMC with preventive visits and breakdown support across Delhi. We work from our office in Gurugram, and also serve sites in Gurugram (see X-ray baggage scanner in Gurugram), Noida and the rest of NCR. Questions from Delhi buyers
Do you supply X-ray baggage scanners in Delhi?
Yes. We supply, install and maintain X-ray baggage scanners for government offices, courts, hotels, malls, corporate offices, mail rooms and warehouses across Delhi, including central Delhi, Aerocity, Saket, Nehru Place, Okhla and the industrial areas.
Can you help government buyers who order through GeM?
We can share datasheets and help you write a clear technical specification: tunnel size, single or dual energy and view, image quality, AERB type approval, Make in India class, warranty, AMC and training. The purchase itself follows your GeM or tender process.
Which tunnel size suits a hotel in Delhi?
Hotels that screen check-in suitcases usually need a large tunnel of about 655 x 505 mm or more. Offices that only screen laptop bags and handbags can use a small tunnel. We confirm the size after seeing your largest bags.
Can a scanner be installed at an open gate?
It can, but the scanner should be under a shade or in a cabin, protected from direct sun, rain and dust, with stable power. We check this during the survey.
What is the price of an X-ray baggage scanner in Delhi?
It depends on the tunnel size, energy and view type, make, accessories and AMC terms, so we do not publish one fixed price. We send an itemised written quotation after a free site survey, and our Delhi price guide explains what decides the cost.
