X-ray baggage scanner in Noida: supply, installation and AMC

X-ray baggage scanners for IT offices in Sector 62, Sector 63 and along the Expressway, media houses in Film City, malls and hotels around Sector 18, hospitals, government offices and the staff exits of factories and export units in Phase 1, Phase 2 and the NSEZ. We help you choose the tunnel size, supply an AERB-approved model, install it, train your operators and maintain it under AMC.

Where X-ray baggage scanners are needed in Noida

An X-ray baggage scanner lets a trained operator see inside a bag, case or parcel on a monitor while a conveyor carries it through a shielded tunnel, so it does not have to be opened by hand. How the machine works, single vs dual energy and the standard tunnel sizes are on our main X-ray baggage scanner page. Noida’s mix of IT offices, media houses, malls and export factories gives a set of screening points that is a little different from the rest of NCR:

  • IT and corporate offices in Sector 62, Sector 63, Sector 16 and Sector 1 to 4, and the newer IT parks and towers along the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway (Sector 125 to 144). A compact scanner for laptop bags usually sits at the visitor entry beside the flap barriers.
  • Media and broadcast houses in Film City (Sector 16A), where studio guests, crews and couriers come in all day. Here the scanner must take camera bags and equipment cases, not just handbags.
  • Malls, hotels and hospitals around Sector 18, Sector 38A and the Expressway, with a scanner at each public entry next to the door frame metal detectors.
  • Factories and export units in Phase 1 and Phase 2, Sector 57 to 68, Hosiery Complex and the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ), where electronics, mobile phone, garment and jewellery units screen staff bags at the exit, and mail rooms check incoming parcels.
  • Government offices, schools and coaching centres with a public entry that is screened every day or on exam and event days. Government buyers usually order through GeM or a tender.

Exit screening at Noida factories and export units

A large share of our Noida enquiries is not about the front door but about the staff exit of a factory. In units that handle small, valuable items such as mobile and electronic components, chips, jewellery or branded garments, the worry is goods going out in lunch boxes and bags at the end of a shift. A scanner at the exit lets guards check every bag in seconds without opening each one by hand. Points that matter at such a gate:

  • Shift change rush. Hundreds of workers leave within a few minutes, so plan enough lanes, roller tables on both sides and a clear queue so that no one is waved through to save time.
  • Small tunnel, good image. Lunch bags and small backpacks need only a small tunnel, but small dense parts are hard to see. Ask for a dual energy model with good wire resolution and penetration as stated in the datasheet, rather than a bigger tunnel.
  • Bag plus body check. The bag goes through the scanner while the worker walks through a door frame metal detector set for the plant, with a handheld detector for alarms. At gates with a tripod turnstile we place the scanner so the queue for the bag check comes before the turnstile.
  • Written procedure. Who watches the screen, what is sent for a hand search and how it is recorded. The scanner works only as well as the procedure around it.

Choosing the tunnel by what you scan

  • Laptop bags, handbags, lunch bags: a small tunnel of about 500 × 300 mm is enough for office lobbies and factory exits.
  • Shopping bags, cabin bags, camera bags and medium parcels: about 600 × 400 mm suits malls, hospitals, media houses and mail rooms.
  • Suitcases, equipment trunks and large cartons: about 650 × 500 mm or larger, for hotel porches and goods entries.

Measure the largest item you must scan and take the next size up, no bigger: a larger tunnel costs more, needs more floor space and is harder to bring into the building.

Points we check at a Noida site

  • High-rise lobbies. Many Expressway and Sector 62 towers have the visitor lobby on a podium or upper ground level. We check the ramp, door widths and the service lift size and load before confirming the model.
  • Ground-level factory gates. At open gates and security cabins we plan a shade or cabin, a raised and level base where water collects in the monsoon, and protection from dust.
  • Power. A dedicated point with a stabiliser or UPS and a check of the DG changeover, so screening does not stop at shift change.
  • AERB registration. The scanner must be an AERB-approved type and the user organisation registers the installed unit before regular use. We supply approved models and help with the documents, and train the operators on each shift.

X-ray baggage scanner price in Noida (November 2026)

We do not publish one fixed X-ray scanner price, because it changes with the tunnel size, single or dual energy, single or dual view, the make, accessories such as roller tables and a UPS, and the warranty and AMC terms. In November 2026 we send an itemised written quotation after a free site survey, with supply, delivery, installation, AERB paperwork support and operator training as separate lines. Our X-ray baggage scanner price guide explains what decides the cost, and the X-ray scanner buying guide lists the checks before you order.

Questions from Noida buyers

Do you supply X-ray baggage scanners in Noida?

Yes. We supply, install and maintain X-ray baggage scanners for offices, IT parks, media houses in Film City, malls, hotels, hospitals and factories across Noida, including Sector 62, Sector 63, Sector 18, the Expressway sectors, Phase 1 and Phase 2 and the NSEZ.

Can an X-ray scanner be used at a factory exit?

Yes. Many electronics, mobile, garment and jewellery units screen staff bags at the exit. A small dual energy scanner with roller tables, a door frame metal detector beside it and a clear procedure lets guards check every bag quickly at shift change.

Which tunnel size suits a media house or studio entry?

Camera bags and equipment cases usually need about 600 x 400 mm. If crews bring large trunks, a bigger tunnel or a separate goods entry check is better. We confirm the size after seeing your largest cases.

Do we need AERB registration for a baggage scanner?

Yes. The scanner must be an AERB-approved type, and the user organisation registers the installed unit with AERB before regular use. We supply approved models and help with the documents.

What is the price of an X-ray baggage scanner in Noida?

It depends on the tunnel size, energy and view type, make, accessories and AMC terms, so we do not publish one fixed price. We send an itemised written quotation after a free site survey, and our price guide explains what decides the cost.
